THE WOMAN OF ENDOR, The Bridge Between Worlds

Despite her fear of the king's ban on necromancy, the woman agreed to help Saul. In her dimly lit home, she called forth the spirit of the prophet Samuel.
Samuel's voice, though otherworldly, carried the weight of prophecy. He chastised Saul for his disobedience to God's commands, reminding him of the kingdom that had been torn from his grasp. Then, with a solemnity that chilled the very marrow of Saul’s bones, Samuel foretold the impending doom: the Philistines would triumph, and Saul, along with his sons, would join him in the realm of the dead.
Witnessing Saul's despair, the Woman of Endor offered him a meal, showing empathy for the troubled king. Saul returned to his camp, burdened by the prophecy. Soon, it came true: the Philistines triumphed, and Saul fell in battle.
